Breed is CORPORATION's third album, originally released in 1994. This version is based on the 2008 re-release, where we recruited Kevin Bate of Synthetik to digitally remaster the music using the latest technology at Synsounds Studio. The result is a much more dynamic sound than the original CD version.

Breed is a concept album with an unashamed sci-fi feel, with obvious influences from 70's and 80's sci-fi movies such as Aliens and The Thing, and early classic series like The Outer Limits. We tried to make each track stand on its own, creating not only memorable tunes but also a thick atmosphere. We feel it still stands as a tribute to aliens taking over worlds.

Our music has always been strongly influenced by British and European EM, including such artists as Mark Shreeve, Synthetik, Jean-Michel Jarre, and Andy Pickford. Today you'd probably classify it as dark ambient and melodic electro / electronic.

honestly this album takes quite a bit of time and many listening rounds to actually "get into". No doubt it is technically excellent, with more advanced composition elements than earlier records, however it isn't that easily accessible either. Perhaps this is actually a strength as each time you will listen to there will be more details to discover. Martin R
